| Introduction | I was born and raised in the Dallas area and moved off to the country at the start of my freshman year in high school. Married my high school sweetheart and the love of my life nearly 29 years ago and have raised two wonderful boys, both of which are in their twenties which makes it mathematically impossible for me to be their real mother! I recently decided to give up my job as a computer teacher to take care of my family and of my parents who I adore. I've never been that great of a cook but have decided it's time I learn. In doing so I have become addicted to trying new cookbooks and recipes and have been posting pictures of what I've made on Facebook. This gave me the idea for the blog where I can write a review of the recipe and the cookbook it came from. I am in no way a professional food critic and the opinions of the books I review are just that, opinions. I just wanted to share these recipes and a few stories with everyone and help make the world a better place one kitchen at a time. |
