| Introduction | I am a chaplain, an artist and a writer. "As I grow into my life," I find I am filled more and more with a deep sense of spirituality and often delight, (which I think are really one and the same). My favorite spiritual teacher, Sister Elaine Herold, always states: "GOD writes straight with crooked lines." I find the meaning of this confusing sentiment never fails to give me an enduring sense of hope...no matter how it shows itself.
