| Introduction | I am not one to get into details so I am going to keep it short and sweet. I am currently living in Maui and arriving at the tail end of my Master's program. I will be receiving my degree in public health nursing, which is very exciting:) I teach at University of Hawaii Maui College. Some may ask...whoa Solange is blogging?? Yes, I am :) I created this blog to share with my family, friends, and co-workers (also my friends) of what I will be doing in Peru this summer. I have hooked up with an organization called Save The Moche, Inc. based out of North Carolina. How did all this come about you ask... Well, quick run down. As I stated before, I am at the tail end of my Master's program and I needed to do a capstone project that promotes health and wellness. Since this course fell during the summer session, I naturally chose to do it in Peru. I was approved by my advisor of UH Manoa. After, searching for some organizations, I came across this one and it was a MATCH! |
