| Introduction | I am a lecturer teaching English at Kasetsart University, Kamphaengsaen campus,Thailand. I have been teaching English for some more years. I graduated B.A.(Hons)in English from Mahamakut Buddhist University and M.Ed. (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) from Silapakorn University. I am currently doing my PhD in Linguistics at the University of Adelaide,Australia. My main research interests are genre based pedagogy,functional grammar, discourse analysis and TESOL/ESOL/ESL/TEFL. My thesis project is concerned with Thai university students' essay writing. I mean I am working on the application of the genre based theory of Systemic Functional Linguistics to Thai students' academic writing. My principal supervisor is Dr.Peter White. I am particularly interested to discuss and share ideas and experiences with anyone who is interested in the areas indicated above. Anyway, people in any fields are warmly welcome. |
