| Introduction | Taking care of Miss Darcy and Margaret by paying the electrical supply persons so that we aren’t deprived of radiators and that immensely useful heated blanket thing, washing the coffee cups, keeping a weather eye out for Mr Wickham and negotiating a regular supply of tinned chicken from Mr Spencer (from the Avenue) although it needs said when I get my paws on Mr Marks (either of them) I will deal with him most soundly after the manner of Lady Catherine for Mr Spencer’s general intransigence. It is to be declared, dear profile readers, that that cat is useless for anything much but lurking in other cats' gardens and even that he does very ill. Yet I console myself with the fact that I must be approaching the matter in the correct fashion as the tins of chicken do appear on a Thursday night. |
