| Introduction | I'm a Mumma to 4 beautiful babies; our sunshine Xavier, big bro extraordinaire, our angel Poppy, and our two rainbow babies, Hugo and Adeline. They all have an amazing Daddy, my hubby Glen. I'm a passionate teacher and a passionate Mum. I'm just a gal trying hard to raise good humans. Why do I blog you ask? Well, firstly, I love to write. I find it cathartic to find words to describe my feelings. Secondly, I guess I just want to give voice to the fact that being a mum is not easy. Maybe you, like me, have struggled with infertility, recurrent miscarriage or stillbirth. Maybe you've had difficult pregnancies. Maybe IVF has been your path. Or perhaps once you had your babies you realised that you didn't always love it. Maybe you struggled with PNDA as I have twice. Maybe you're doing this alone or without a lot of support. Maybe you work and find the balance tricky or even impossible some days. I'm here to say, I get it. And lastly, I guess I'm here to share the journey. If it spreads a little hope as well, that'd be great. |

| Favorite movies | I LOVE disaster films! The more terrible they are the more I like them. Especially when they take themselves very seriously! |
| Favorite music | I love good music, I'm a bit of fan of Musical Theatre including Les Mis, Chicago, The Book of Mormon, Into the Woods (LOVE Sondheim), and a bit of Gilbert and Sullivan thrown in for good measure. |
| Favorite books | Harry Potter, David Eddings Belgariad/Mallorean/Elenium/Tamuli series, The Obernewtyn Chronicles, Steig Larsen 'The Girl...' trilogy, The Hunger Games series, and pretty much anything else I can get my hands on. Currently LOVING Matthew Reily books. |
