| Introduction | Eva Recacha is a London based choreographer interested in making work that bridges dance with ordinary life, highlighting the surreal and absurd aspects of our routines and codes of language. Eva is working combining movement and text to create tight rhythmical structures that function as a score, playing loosely with the idea of story telling and the infinite possibilities of very few elements creating a comedy of absurd. In previous works Eva has focused on site specific work, bringing dance to the public domain. Eva is a Place Prize Finalist 2010-11 and a Work Place Artist. She is recipient of the Marion North Mentoring Award 2011-12 and has been shortlisted for a 2012 Arts Foundation Fellowship. |
