| Introduction | I walked the French Camino from Pamplona to Santiago in 2003. Starting in Córdoba I walked to Sevilla and up the Vía del Plata to Santiago, then to Finesterra and across to Muxia and back to Santiago in 2004. The North Camino from Irun to Oviedo then the Primitivo from Oviedo, Lugo to Santiago, I returned by bus to complete the North Camino, Oviedo Ribadeo , Sobrado to Santiago then took a train to and walked from Pontevedra back to Santiago all in the year of 2005. Now 67 years young I walked the lonely Ebro Camino from Tortosa to Logroño and on the French camino to Santiago in 2007.I had to cancel my proposed Mozarabe Camino of 2009 due to a knee problem but I walked that Mozarabe Camino starting from Cordoba to Merida in May 2010 Also Zamora through Portugal to Verin. Then took a bus to Oviedo and I walked from Gijon on the north coast to Caudonga (Covadonga)in the Picos de Europa. I am 71 years old now and that makes it more difficult but I'm still not the oldest peregrino I have met :) |
