| Introduction | After years of eating conscientiously, our family of five began to ask the same questions about everything else we use: "How and where was this shirt made and who might have been exploited to make it?" We committed to only buying things secondhand or made responsibly, especially clothes. At first I would just hem sleeves or pants, but then began adding custom patches to cover stains or logos. Soon we began to view the Goodwill as a fabric store, and now feel our options are unlimited. |
