He is the founder of www.oddWires.com. oddWires is focused on the broad intersection of technologies that include Open Source Hardware, Arduino and embedded micro-controller development, and electronics as a whole. In particular re-invention is a mantra. Frankly, most of what we use today has a yesterday feel about it. If you haven't already taken a look at it, look at Nest, the new home thermostat that sells for more than its target retail price. It's a thermostat you never actively set - it works out how you want to heat or cool your home. Think how that principle could be applied to the devices you use and you'll come up with a long list. |
