| Introduction | My background is cosmetology. I did hair and make-up for years but after scratching and clawing my way back from an assault in 1985 and finding healing, I wanted to work w/ survivors. My experience is no longer painful for me. Trust me-it took years of therapy and treatment to be able to say that. My job is so rewarding in that I can relate so well with my clients and at the same time can try to help them w/o feeling the pain. |

| Favorite books | I don't read as much as I should and what I do read is almost always a bit dark. Right now I'm reading a book called "Look me in the eye". Just finished a great book called "Picking Cotton". |
