Introduction Lose the scales. Start feeding your body and soul! I, Amy Slusher, personal trainer and Director of Family Fit Foundation, established this site not only to promote my services, but to provide a venue for others to share advice on exercise and clean eating. Where did I come from? Morgantown originally. I majored in Broadcast News at WVU. I was a television reporter for several years before deciding to be a stay at home mom. When I decided I was not cut out for the suburbs, my husband and I sold our home in Atlanta, GA and moved us and our two young sons to my family farm in WV. I became a personal trainer and established the Family Fit Foundation, a non-profit organization to offer affordable exercise and nutritional education programs. I also organized a local farmers market in an attempt to educate families on the benefits of eating locally grown/raised food. My approach to fitness is simple: no fad diets and no scales. If you feel better, eat cleaner (no overly processed/commercially produced foods)and exercise daily, the weight will come off. You will feel better and be healthier for it....and you don't have to be wealthy to do it!
