| Introduction | My name is Heather and welcome to my blog where I try to document and share snippets of my homeschooling/unschooling (and everything in between) journey. I hold a degree in English Literature and Education, a Diploma of Children's Services, am a qualified SPELD tutor, ESOL tutor and also completed my Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Primary) whilst my son was still in the school system in the hope of supporting all children but especially those who fit outside the parameters of what society deems as "normal". Teaching in a mainstream setting and seeing my beautiful boy (diagnosed by others with ADHD/ASD/Gifted with Dysgraphia) struggling became a catalyst for me to leave the teaching profession and take him with me and we have never looked back and I continue on this path with Poppy. I hope that my blog interests and perhaps inspires others who may be on a similar journey or are thinking about embarking on one. Happy Living, loving and learning however you do it xox |
