Introduction I'm a square peg, round hole type of thinker. I'm extremely random and like random and witty humor. I failed numerous college English courses solely because I felt they were too elementary and a waste of time, so I stopped attending the classes rather than dropping them. College English courses are having to teach prepositional phrases??? Really??? Go back to 7th grade, kids! I'm a total optimist with a cynical sense of humor. I am ridiculously determined and take it upon myself to get stuff done! I'm a multi-tasker, and function better when I am busy.
Interests music/concerts, movies, theatre, roadtrips, driving with the windows down, meeting random people, using proper spelling and grammar, wearing flip-flops, petting puppies, orange juice w/lots of pulp, sushi, cheesecake, fruits an veggies, expensive cheeses, old worn-in jeans, contact sports, politically incorrect humor, free stuff, catching up w/old friends, low gas prices, the smell of fresh cut grass, writing with green pens, the Academy Awards, photography (though I am currently camera-less).
Favorite Movies I watch all with a critical eye, and tend to like smart films. Fave movies tend to include movies that I grew up with and movies that make me think or make me angry. These aren't the *best* movies, but movies that stick with me for some reason, or simply make me happy - The Sandlot, Good Will Hunting, Playing By Heart, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Newsies, A League of Their Own, Pete's Dragon, Disney's Hercules, The Labyrinth, Hard Candy, In Bruges, 10 Things I Hate About You, Atonement, Field of Dreams, Gattaca, Rachel Getting Married, Memento, Anchorman, Zoolander, Big Daddy, Home Alone (I can never think of proper lists - they just tend to come up in discussion).
Favorite Music I like everything from Metal to Musicals, and (almost) everything in between. Faves are Brand New, As I Lay Dying, Thrice, Straylight Run, Band of Skulls, Laura Marling, Sia, Eisley, Johnny Flynn, Muse, Kings of Leon, Underoath, Showbread, Blindside, Band of Horses, Jack Johnson, Queen, the Beatles... (just to name a few)
Favorite Books Still workin' on it... I'm trying to get through Time magazine's list of 100 greatest books ever written.
