| Introduction | once upon a time i went to art school. then i had a baby. eventually i went to an idiosyncratic liberal arts school in the middle of the woods. upon the realization that a through knowledge of foucault was not going to get me a job anywhere, i decide to get a graduate degree in public policy. THEN i decided to pursue a Phd in public health. now i teach undergrads at a big party school and wonder how long it will be before people can start calling me "doctor." |
