| Introduction | This blog is about my first and greatest love--baking. There is nothing I love more than providing the people I love with the comfort, warmth, and joy that comes from homemade baked goods. I'm not a food snob--mastering the art of the perfect chocolate chip cookie is just as important as constructing a perfectly delicate dacquoise. Many claim that you cannot experiment with baking the way you can with cooking, playing with flavors and textures, but I wholeheartedly disagree. As a teacher I believe in "fantastic mistakes"--those "oops" moments that turn into new discoveries. Happy baking! |
