| Introduction | Born in the USA, lived in numerous states, then went back and forth crisscrossing the globe for well over a decade. Also had involvement with Civil Rights issues while living in a southern state. While I was going abroad my involvement was with humanitarian aid relief work. Often I was viewed as a rebel for the simple reason I was unwilling to be "politically correct". If I saw a need that could be filled, I did what "my hands found to do". This is based upon Bible principle. Never did I stay in some fancy hotel (as did some colleagues) but preferred to stay with the people. This allowed me to not only get to know these beautiful people as individuals but let me learn their cultures. There are pieces of my heart scattered across the globe. I've often told folks that if they ever find a piece of my heart, leave it there as that's where it belongs (with those whom I love). Each time I set foot upon foreign soil, there was an immediate and profound love and connectedness that could only have been born of the Lord. His word declares that He's "not willing that any should perish". Any means just that---ANY. |
| Interests | All topics related in helping to bring resolution to unsolved issues worldwide. Also interested in politics and Constitutional law. |
| Favorite movies | Remember The Titans, Ruby Bridges, Selma Lord Selma, Ghosts of Mississippi,Schindler's List, Twelve Angry Men, Valley of Elah, A Mighty Heart, Rendition, and most all documentaries on the PBS channel..yet I like things on a lighter note too such as Best In Show, 9 to 5, Second Wives Club...and too many more to list. |
| Favorite music | All things Motown, jazz, classical, and world music. My love of classical music was planted within me as a child. I had the same 'home room' teacher for two years (a Native American from the Mohawk tribe) that always had classical music playing while in class. He was amazing! |
