| Introduction | Since 2008, many Palestinians here have been evicted from their homes in Sheikh Jarrah and instead, extremist Israeli settlers have moved in. The Palestinian family Al Kurd is still fighting against settlers that occupy half of their house. Activists from all over the world have established a nightly presence in Sheikh Jarrah to protect the family from settlers attacks but also to show support and solidarity to all Palestinians living in Sheikh Jarrah. The purpose of this blog is to provide information about the neighborhood, give updates on the situation and share the activists' experience. |
