| Introduction | I co-host the Great Trans Tasman Sports Show on LiveSPORT in New Zealand (8am) and Australia SEN through Victoria (6am) with Scott Cooney and others depending on the season. Been a football nut since I can remember. Played since I was 5 and support Manchester United. When it comes to local footy my club was Howick but alas they merged with local rivals Pakuranga and ended up getting royally screwed in the deal. Since then I've played for Fencibles (merged club) Mount Maunganui, Tauranga City and Metro. I've also been and active member of failed NZ football franchises in Australian competitions the Football Kingz and the New Zealand Knights and now I follow the Wellington Phoenix despite the fact they're based in another city. In the local New Zealand football Championship (ASB Premiership) i follow and support Auckland City FC. So a load of teams to follow and support but I can say I've been to every ground and seen at least one game and collect merch and memorabilia from all of them. Follow me on Twitter rikdog72 |
