| Introduction | I'm a mother, a paper artist, a pug owner/lover,rescuer, a sister and a book lover. Those are the things I think of when I see "about me". :) I've raised two children well. They're kind-hearted, responsible young adults. One is serious-minded; the other a comedian. I create intricate scherenschnitte pieces from my own patterns. I create a drawing in pencil first then cut the design. I also design paper quilled pieces and paper dolls. It calms me. We have 4 pugs named Pea Green, Petunia, Pea Body and Penny, and one honorary pug named Mojo. I hadn't intended to end up with so many animals but three of them were rescues. I just couldn't say "no". I'm a sister to five. Three I've lost; two just recently. I lost them all to cancer. Jan went first with brain cancer; Debbie, the baby of the family went next with lung cancer; then George went with leukemia. It's been really difficult for me the last year. I'm having a hard time dealing with my loss but I'm trying to work through it. |
