Introduction This is the story of the first attempt to cross the Wollemi National Park from North to South. The trip will start at an abandoned Oil Shale mine at a place called Baerami in the Upper Hunter, and end near the apple orchids of Bilpin on the Bells Line of Road in the Blue Mtns. The trip will be attempted with no assistance and solo in September 2010. It is anticipated to take between 12-14 days, weather, terrain and conditions permitting!
