Rowena on Norfolk Island
My blogs
| Introduction | Norfolk Island has beeen my home since early 2007. I visted here with my husband several times before we dedided that it would be good step to take to move from New Zealand to here. We had been living in Oamaru, but our two son's, two fantastic daughter in laws, and five grandchildren were all living in the Manawatu. I don't think that it was a shock to them when their nomadic parent's announced that they were shift overseas. But when you look at the distances, we are possibly no further away from them here! My interest do not extend to speading much time house keeping or gardening. I would rather be doing patchwork and quitling, or reading about it, or thinking about it while I go on a refreshing walk. Talking about my passion at an evening out is how I met Donna, a like- minded Kiwi quilter who even owned the same model sewing machine that had. She had this idea to combine the passion of quilting and this Island, and share it. So quiltnorfolk was launched. |
