| Introduction | Waitress from Mensa (the name is a take-off of the title of an old Woody Allen short story) was at one time a member of Mensa, and, more recently, a waitress. She is in the process of renovating her 1940s-era house, trying keep her 1950s-era body Cadillacking along, working, and playing. She is claimed by a few variously affectionate cats, and is mourning the loss of her dogs. As a day job, she works as an engineering program coordinator for a large state university. By trade, she is a technical editor and continues to edit for a small cadre of academics. Her favorite weekend activities are bicycle touring, camping, and gardening.
