Introduction	I am open and curious, especially about other cultures! I am a University student on my way to finishing my Magister (MA) in American Studies (with minors in PoliSci and Film Studies). In what time I have left I'm involved in photography and journalism and will eventually connect the two in freelance work.
Interests	Photography, Journalism, American Culture, Political and Social Issues, Borders & Migration/Integration/Assimilation, Film, Design, Digital Media (and so many more!)
Favorite movies	I like documentaries, mostly on travel, culture and science. One of my favorites is War Photographer by Christian Frey feat. James Nachtwey. Also Microcosm! As a Film student there are many more movies I like without having favorites necessarily. I enjoy clever Science Fiction, Horror and Animation. Recently I have tried to see more classic French and Italian movies (Nouvelle Vague, Film Noir, Neorealism)
Favorite music	Across the genres from Rock, Metal, Indie, Progressive, Punk and Pop over Classical, Jazz, Blues Folk and Country all the way to Electronic.
Favorite books	Neil Diamond - Collapse I enjoy good Science Fiction (Asimov, Ted Chiang) and also fantasy. I also like Poe's poetry I like to read literature as part of my Cultural Studies. Especially tales, myths and stories of the kind can be very telling.
