| Introduction | Hello and welcome. The purpose of my blog is to put down in writing my understanding on topics relating to being a follower of Jesus. I will share observation, studies I’ve completed, testimony of my life as well as that of other brother and sisters who are pursuing and being changed by our Lord. Regarding Theological Doctrine: they are good tool for developing understanding of God’s word as well as how to apply God’s word to our lives. I don’t believe it can be used as absolute truth as they were created by people. Most importantly, I will be using the bible, as it’s the absolute authority and God’s word. I believe in applying hermeneutics when studying scripture, rather than just reading chunks of literal text that can lead to poor interpretation, a problems that has plagued the church throughout history. I hope this will create thought in your life as well as a desire to pursue a deeper understanding of who Jesus is and what he has called his people to do. It’s a life long process, one that will not be complete until Jesus returns and his Kingdom is fully known. For now we hear in part and see in part. God bless |
