Introduction	I am a single male. I have many and varied 'hobbies'which usually cost me money! I have attempted to climb 'Mt Everest' on three occasions, my last reaching 22,000ft and being driven back by the adverse weather conditions yet again as was the case twice previously. Having climbed all over the globe and indeed conquering many major mountains. I have completed ALL but one of the Munros except'The Inaccessible pinnacle'on 'Skye'Fell off and broke three fingers! Equipment malfunction! (Honest!)
Interests	Trekking, Mountaineering. Walking, Collecting rare Orchids. Gardening in a small space. Collecting 'Sowerby' glass swan butter dishes. Collecting rare glassware.B&W Photography. Collecting art.Collecting Meteorites.
Favorite movies	Out of Africa The colour purple
Favorite music	Operetta's. Deep purple (In rock) Led zepplin 1.2.& 3 David Bowie (All) George Michael Tino Rossi David Daniels (Countertenor) A good friend who kept me sane after my writing four books and several hundred lines of poetry in a row. His music soothed my fevered brow!
Favorite books	Anything to do with climbing. I have a treasured signed copy of 'Great Climbs' boxed set of two books by Sir Chris Bonington & Doug Scott. I also have a very special personally signed photograph of Sir Ed Hillary dated June 2001. signed in New Zealand for me.
