| Introduction | Hello! My name is Jessie, and I live in Fairmont, West Virginia. I am twenty-six years old, married to my high school sweetheart for seven years, and a mommy of two amazing little boys (Landon, 4 and Carter, 1). I obtained my first degree from Fairmont State University, a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education (English/Library). I obtained my second degree from West Virginia University, a Master’s in Reading. Now, I am working on my third degree back at Fairmont State, a Master’s in Digital Media and Learning Technology. I got my first teaching job three years ago as the librarian for a local middle school, and I am still happily working there, today. I firmly believe that education is an evolving field, and in order for me to be the best teacher that I can be, I must be willing to keep learning. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “Teaching in the Internet age means we must teach tomorrow’s skills today.” –Jennifer Fleming |
