| Introduction | I guess you would call me an entrepreneur. I launched my first business, a recruitment and language services firm, in 1980 with just five staff. It grew over the next decade into a 40 million dollar turnover with more than 100 staff. I then sold the recruitment arm of the business to focus on language services and founded thebigwordGroup. thebigwordGroup is now ranked 12th in the world's translation and interpreting companies by Common Sense Advisory and is among the fastest growing in the industry. We now employ more than 400 people worldwide and have nine global offices. |
