| Introduction | i live in the beautiful peninsular port city of charleston, sc. living in this city has been a dream of mine for many years. she is a living museum - alive with people strolling the streets and parks everyday. charleston offers the most eclectic places in which to stay while here. from private homes, pied-a-terres, beautiful bed & breakfasts, quaint botique hotels to the grand 'charleston place.' it is a shoppers paradise. there are one-of-a-kind botiques, a milliner, to 'louis vuitton' and everything in between. the 'lowcountry', which is the geographical area on which the peninsula sits, has a long history of pride in local food. one should not be disappointed with the diversity, yet usually touched with the local flavor. i am happy to share all of these things within the historic district. while also giving you a taste of being a local. |
