Sponges and tongues are frequently misspelled. Is it because both are thirsty?
no, it's because a large percentage of the population can't be bothered to learn to spell beyond the vaguest rudiments because, of course, the spell-check will catch it. which totally works when you're using a pen and writing on paper.
