Introduction Joseph W. Kopsick was born on February 24th, 1987 in Lake Forest, Illinois. The son of an personal injury attorney, and a homemaker and disabilities teaching assistant, he grew up in Lake Bluff, Illinois. Kopsick attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison from 2005 to 2009. A Democrat until 2000, he supported the Green Party in high school. In 2007, he became interested in Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich, and Ron Paul, and switched from his legal studies course to declare Political Science as his college major. He supported Ron Paul in 2008, and Gary Johnson in 2012 and 2016. Kopsick ran for the U.S. House of Representatives three times - each time as a write-in independent candidate - 2012 (WI-2, receiving 6 votes) and 2014 (OR-3, ending his candidacy before the election), and 2016 (IL-10, receiving 26 votes). Joe Kopsick is active on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Etsy, Google Hangouts, and co-administers the Facebook group Geo-Mutualist Panarchism (formerly "Market Anarchy 'Without Adjectives'"), which has over 600 members.
