| Introduction | I have been a volunteer dog handler at the SPCA of Westchester for the past 6 years. I am a recent graduate of the Karen Pryor Academy and I am now a certified training partner using the clicker along with positive reinforcement to teach owners and their dogs how to communicate with each other. My four footed family consists of two disabled dogs. Hennessy is my foster dog with three legs and Gracy is a 5 year old bull dog/boxer mix who is paralyzed. They remind me every day to be thankful, happy and to live in the moment. We also have three cats (all with four functioning legs) as well as three two legged children ages 21,19,17. |
