| Introduction | I'm a fun-loving girl who now lives in Houston but my Ohio accent occasionally sneaks out and shows my roots. I'm in graduate school at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work to become a social worker and I am hoping to intern in a medical setting working with children and/or adolescents in the fall. The time commitment and program structure kicks my butt sometimes but I'm loving every minute of it. The people I've met in my classes are marvelous and I love them for being the amazing people they are.
I've got mad baking skills-- cookies, pies, cakes, you name it. I like laughing at the randomness of life. I disclose too much about myself when I have too much wine. My friends say I have nine lives. I love meeting new people and I like to talk with my hands. I am a person with strong convictions. I try my hardest to see the best in everything and everyone. I think a little bit of love and laughter could cure a lot of the hurt in the world. My family and friends are the most cherished things in my life. And, I truly believe that life is a gift – each moment should be enjoyed to the fullest of its potential. |
