Introduction I'm a super-senior at UMASS. Almost done. I'm getting two BA's- one in communications (media studies) and one in psychology. Both of which will be completely useless in the real world. I have no idea what's next. I don't want to graduate- school is all I'm good at. So I'll probably go for a Master's next. I would like to be a prof of media studies at a quiet little college eventually.
Interests Well, since there's no favorite TV: Lost is the only show I actually watch on TV- at my stepdad's cuz I don't have cable. But I watch TV on DVD and I love South Park, Robot Chicken, My Name is Earl, Family Guy is OK, (but not as good as South Park). I'm looking forward to checking out Heroes, Ugly Betty and Jericho when they finally hit DVD. I absolutely loved Arrested Development and Freaks and Geeks, they're gone but I will watch anything with castmembers from either one. I was into Oz, too. I like a lot of cartoons (no rugrats bullshit- stuff that winks at a grownup audience) and I LOVE old-school Sesame Street and Muppets. I like Jeopardy! (cuz I'm a nerd).
Favorite Movies In no particular order: The Wizard of Oz, The Jerk, Amores Perros, The Big Lebowski, Sid and Nancy, Requiem for a Dream, Office Space, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, ALL poorly dubbed Kung-Fu and Godzilla movies, Shaun of the Dead, Napoleon Dynamite, most Spike Lee, most Kevin Smith- especially Dogma. Anything with George Clooney, Johnny Depp, Sam Rockwell. ALL Michel Gondry, Alejandro Gonzales Innaritu, David Lynch, Pedro Almodovar, and yes, Quentin Tarantino. I know, so common. The original Star Wars flix were cool, too. But to make up for it, I also love German expressionism and pretty much any kind of documentary. That's a start- there are so so so many more.
Favorite Music WEEN, QOTSA, RHCP, The D, anything with Dave Grohl, asst metal, alt, reggae, old skool rap, 70's funk and soul, James Brown, (RIP), lots more; anything but country, really
Favorite Books The Stand, Stephen King. #1 forever & ever. Ishmael by Daniel Quinn, They Cage the Animals at Night by Jennings Burch, Uphill Walkers by Madeleine Blais, lots of others- reading is my life as a student. They may not be books, but I read Entertainment Weekly and Rolling Stone religiously.

What did you dream when you ate a spider while sleeping?

Shudder... I just read a story about a kid in Oregon who went to the doctor for an earache and had 2 spiders living in his ear. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWW!!
