| Introduction | My name is Alisha Melling. I am a Mormon missionary, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have left my home in Utah for 18 months because I was called by a prophet of God to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those in the New York Rochester area. Some people may ask why I would be willing to put my life on hold to come to New York and talk to strangers. But this gospel has brought me so much joy, I want others to feel the happiness that comes from knowing the truth. And the blessings that come from serving a mission are definitely worth it. |
