Introduction	I have been married for 27 years to the love of my life. We have eleven beautiful children ranging in age from 24 to four. After giving birth to our first seven, God led us on an amazing journey to adopt four more children from Ethiopia. We are blessed beyond measure. I am also a writer and speaker for Empowered to Connect, a ministry to families with children from "hard places". I earnestly believe in the power of God to heal children’s broken hearts and wounded minds, and I'm privileged to participate in that process with my own children.
