| Introduction | We came together as a family after hosting our 14 year old now son from Ukraine during Christmas 2010 through an International hosting program called New Horizons For Children, Inc. In the midst of hosting Kolya, Joe and I felt the Lord was going to lead us through more then just hosting. We have become volunteer Regional Directors for New Horizons For Children and are now in the midst of starting an orphan care ministry in Ukraine called "New Horizons Orphan Care Ministry, Inc.". This ministry will be working with "Timing Out" teens that will have no place to call home when they leave the orphanages and holding Christian camps for the younger ones in hopes to teach them about their Lord and Savior before they are on their own. We are a very blessed family in that we love serving the Lord and others as a family unit. Our son Kolya was saved in 2007 at a camp in Ukraine by someone willing to invest time in him and he was baptized in October in 2012 in Lake Jordan in his jeans and shirt, he was ready to go! With this as a family we want to give to others doing God's work as he leads us. |
