Introduction I love food. I love it so much I decided to make it part of my career. I'm the owner and chef of my own catering company, Savory to Sweet. I specialize in cold and room temperature foods that look gorgeous and taste spectacular. The key is combining ingredients that go together naturally that reflect the season. Once you understand basic technique and flavor combinations, the possibilities are endless. After launching full time in February 2008, I've created a wonderful networks of clients and supporters that have made my catering venture a success. Now, I say 'part of my career' because I also love writing. One key to becoming a better writer is to share your work, get honest feedback and keep plugging away. It's a constant struggle and a constant blessing. Being able to describe flavors, textures and feelings accurately through words is not an easy task. This is my practice field. I use this blog to share my culinary and writing experiences. From catering cocktail parties for 100 to dinner for my husband, I hope inspire and create cooks out of my readers.
