Introduction In 2014 I walked the Camino de Santiago and my world opened. By the end of 833 km. Crossing northern Spain, two things I knew for sure: I was to continue long distance walking and I was to write. And somehow, some way this was to form my new livelihood. In February of 2015 I chose a different type of walk and took on the well known W Trek of Torres del Paine in Chile, along with the walks surrounding El Chalten in Argentina. Both proved challenging and left me wondering if I had not gone a bit mad....57 years old, never a hiker and off I fly to take on the challenge alone. Brave or crazed? All went well so off to Scotland in May to take on the West Highland Way. That walk had to be postponed, but NOT until 12 days of scotch tasting and sightseeing had been completed with a lifetime girlfriend. September of 2015 I opted to take on a portion of the Via Francigena - Lucca to Rome. What a glorious adventure! And so, I invite you to walk with me as follow this pull in my heart to walk...to write...to share with you the people and places I cross on these journeys. And bring to you some of me along the way.
