| Introduction | I don’t have books enough to fill up these shelves and hence I shall write. Either way I will have chosen to relive, to make the remembered more real to my fancy that it was to my consciousness. Anything I read looses monsters of memory that pounce as keenly as a sneeze from a faraway indulgence of a childhood ice cream. And my writing is but a manila envelope into which I periodically thrust the bribes that buy me invisible ink to scribble away the defeats of an intensely remembered, if not intensely lived life. |
