About me

Introduction	I've been sewing since the early 1990’s and started with making clothing. In the early 2000’s I borrowed a log cabin quilt book from my mother and slowly finished my first quilt (a queen size) over the next 7 years. During the home stretch of putting that quilt together, I became utterly addicted to quilting and have barely stepped away from my sewing machine since! I love teaching, modifying patterns, free motion quilting, trying new techniques and finding nifty new ways to do things. When I'm not sewing or working as a Mechanical Engineer, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kitties.
