Introduction	My life's passions are teaching, music, justice and peace. I teach in a disadvantaged school district where I have the privilege of working with young people who would be seen as pretty terrific no matter where they were from. I sing with a group that performs early American music and I play guitar to accompany singing more contemporary songs. I want to find ways to employ creative thinking and technology to keep our planet alive and able to support all of its creatures. I want to advance the cause of justice and peace. These aspects of my life will influence the topics discussed here. You'll find guest bloggers here as well, people who in my opinion have something important to say and no other forum in which to raise their voices.
