| Introduction | I've always loved music and considered myself a hobby musician. I started dancing at age 4, piano at age 8, flute in middle school and junior high, choir and drums as a senior in high school, and vocal performance in college. I tolerated English classes up through my Sophmore year in college, but didn't see the value. With an ear (or a mother) for grammar, writing came naturally--but so did breathing. When my music education hit a road block in college I concededly turned to English. It's a shame one has to wait until upper division English classes to taste the immense beauty of the written word. There I discovered that ear was more like a talent and writing, a performing art. Here I will practice and you're welcome to listen. |
