| Introduction | We are the founders and directors of The Shepherd's Crook Orphan Ministry (theshepherdscrook.org), a non-profit dedicated to finding permanent families for waiting children from all over the world. We are also the parents of twenty-three children, nineteen of whom came to us through the wonder of adoption. Our book, "Swaying In the Treetops: A True Story of Faith and the Fatherless," tells the story of how this adventure came about and relates, in detail, the amazing stories of some or our children's journeys home. ((Our plan is to tell the story of the rest of our adoptions, and all that God accomplished through them, in a second book.) This blog is intended to get the word out about our books and to share updates on book-signings, other events, and the writing and publication of our second book.
