| Introduction | I believe being from a small town is a blessing. I am the proud daughter of Jack and Nimmie Steelman. My dad is a logger, and my mom is a personal care attendent who two-weeks ago found out she is cancer-free after a long battle with metastatic carcinoma. She is quite the survivor, and I am very proud of her. I volunteer at the local Senior Citizen Center, and have helped raise over $8,000 for Hospice. I am the President of my local FFA Chapter and Beta Chapter. I go to church at Hartshorn Assembly of God. I am a true country girl, and I love anything to do with nature, but I am also a politic nerd. I love school, and I am ranked first in my class. I love public speaking, and have won several speaking contests. My favorite subjects are Agriculture and American History. My ambitions in life include becoming an Agriculture teacher, getting married, having a couple of little ankle-biters, and eventually running for public office. |
