Urban Natural Resources

About me

Location Arvada, Colorado
Introduction I grew up in Maryland and have lived in Colorado since 1997. I earned a B.S. in Forest Management with a minor in Spatial Information Management Systems from Colorado State in 2001 and have worked in private industry since then, first at SWCA Environmental Consultants, then DigitalGlobe, then NCDC Imaging, and now at AMEC Earth & Environmental. Throughout this time, my experience has involved geospatial technologies, natural resource management (forestry, urban forestry, renewable energy, and water resources) and over the past few years my focus has largely been in urban forestry and urban planning. I'm a firm believer and supporter in progressive, transparent, collaborative public processes and enjoy applying various technologies to support this field. I live outside out of Denver with my wife Kim, daughter Holden, son Everett, and our dog Scout. I'm an avid outdoorsman and proud to have I've summitted 45 out of Colorado's 54 peaks above 14,000 feet elevation.
