Introduction	I was twenty years at sea trading worldwide from cadet to Captain before coming ashore, swallowing the anchor and becoming a consultant which I have done since 2002. I am privileged to have met and continue to meet a host of seafarers (over 600 ships and counting). I coauthored the book Cracking the Code on the ISM Code with Dr Phil Anderson, along with John Wright and Stuart Nicolls.
Interests	I have started to write once more and I enjoy the fun we have as a family creating the stories.
Favorite movies	From Pretty Woman to Lord of the Rings; Kung Fu Panda to The Borne Series. Movies that move me are always appreciated.
Favorite music	Any music that moves my soul. From Hard Rock to classical; Electronic to the latest songs.
Favorite books	I love books that develop us, helping us to understand the world a little more, and particularly books of the imagination.
