| Introduction | I am an aspiring teacher who is devoted to challenging traditional pedagogical methods and implementing technology effectively in the classroom. Integrated properly, I believe asynchronous learning can facilitate deep understandings of texts, enable students to learn through multiple intelligences and provide rich assessment opportunities, all while inculcating students into the new 21st century literacies. This blog will assist me in keeping parents, colleagues and community members up-to-date on collaborative learning projects. Perhaps with the evolution of this blog, I will be able to post assignments for students who missed class, post rubrics and expectations and (with permission) share successful student projects and learning experiences. |
