| Introduction | I am born into a family of creative individuals going as far back as the mid 1600s. I am a descendant of Olivier Quesnel who was a master armorer and left St. Malo France in 1690, emigrating to Montreal, Quebec. Working with my hands is in my blood. I learned how to crochet at age 9, how to sew at age 11 and from there it has been a wonderful, fun and inspiring journey of learning. I am self taught and I love what I do. Everything I create is done so with love, joy and great attention to detail. I am a perfectionist by nature which can be a detriment in some aspects of my life. But when it comes to my handwork, it is an absolute must. I live with my hubby, two doggies and whichever of our three sons happens to be living with us at any given moment. |
| Interests | I love so many things. Let's see if I can keep it to a small list here. I love making jewelry, naturally! I love to read, watch movies, kayaking, cycling, riding on my hubby's Harley, cooking, especially theme dinner parties. I enjoy going to shows like Stomp and Blue Man Group. Love rock concerts. And probably, one of the things I love most, is riding my jeep with the top down on a gorgeous summer day. That's when I feel the most free. |
| Favorite movies | Again, the there are sooooo many. Steel Magnolias, Chocolat, Pirates of the Carribean, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, most Christmas classics, Stardust, Princess Bride, lots of quirky indie films, mostly foreign. And sooo many more. I'll add on as time goes by. |
| Favorite music | I do love most music, especially when it moves you to move your body. I'm a huge rock fan. AC DC, Eagles, ZZ Top, Natalie Merchant, Annie Lennox, Eva Cassidy, Pink Floyd is an absolute fave. Creedence Clearwater Revival, Santana.... |
