About me

Introduction	The Brown Family is a Los Angeles based Afro hip-hop group with roots in Nigeria, West Africa. Originally formed in 2008, its members have been involved in music under varying capacities prior to this, bringing years of experience with writing, production, arrangement and engineering to the table. The group is made up of members Somto Madu “Famos Fame”, Samuel Dosumu “Sammy D”, JohnPaul Arabome “Pepp”. What makes The Brown Family unique, as a group is the individualism of its members as can be seen in their debut album, which is scheduled for a summer 2010 release worldwide under the Los Angeles Based Indie label Duke Brown Music Group. In this very rich and diverse project, the group members individually take on solo tracks, displaying the core of their artistry with the support, and without the influence of the other members.
